How we brief

Every prompt is built from these:

  1. Role - who the assistant is (usually a KAM; say if they sit buy-side or supply-side).
  2. Context - the account, the moment, what you attach (notes, transcript, report).
  3. Research - what to look at and what not to invent. Filings, usage, the board pack. If you have not attached it, say so.
  4. Competitors - who else is in the conversation. Named rivals, a category alternative, or "procurement is shopping". If you do not know, say you do not know.
  5. Constraints - what it must not do (no unapproved money, no legal admission, no generic pack).
  6. The job - one job per prompt.
  7. Audience - who reads the output (COO is not procurement).
  8. Format - email, five reasons, three proofs, under 200 words.

If the job is too big, chain it. That is the Sequential chain. The Meta-prompt writes this brief when notes are messy.

Value Matters. We wrote these for KAMs.
